Primary Assembly: a great finish to a big term

Our Primary Assembly is an important part of our community life. It helps to recognise the achievements and efforts of each student.

The focus of our Assembly this week was Creative and Practical Arts. Before the awards could start, Years 3 and 4 danced "I gotta feeling". It was a great flash mob dance which brought back a lot of great memories for year 6.

Congratulations to our very creative Stage 3 students: Zoe, Tara, Jemimah, Mia, Annabelle and Ethan. Well done on a fantastic effort!

We also recognised the excellent behaviour of our students by handing out Silver Awards. There were so many!

The Assembly also saw Mrs Pope hand out awards for the sporting achievements of many of our students from the Athletics carnival this term. It saw many of our students give their best, as well as show wonderful competitive spirit.

Assembly: Week 5

The Assembly featured two of our younger primary classes, 1H and KF. They both danced some very cute dances, which Stage 3 couldn't help but join in.
We also need to congratulate the students who received a Science Award. The Science Award is given out to students who have shown a good understanding and effort of a scientific concept. It also is an encouragement award for those students who have shown an improvement in this area. Well done Peter, Nikita, Naomi, Noah, Jessiah and Grace for their effort and interest.

The first group of Silver Awards were handed out. Teachers conference with students to set behaviour goals. Students receive their awards after having discussed the criteria of the behaviour awards.
Mrs Pope also announced that the Primary School would be having another Reachmeet for Parents. This is an opportunity for parents to find out about what we do in Primary school, and how some things have changed too. We hope that as many people can make it as possible!

Stage 3 Class Awards

It has been rather rainy for a Friday, so our usual morning Assembly was cancelled. Stage 3 had their own award ceremony.
The awards were in recognition of the hard work, diligence & participation this week. Well done to all of our Award recipients!
