6T Homework

Homework does not need to be a burden or chore. Our aim to develop a positive attitude to continuing education outside of school hours. Remember, Homework shouldn't be a drama but rather a habit.

So normal expectations each week are:

1:      Reading - night (if possible)
. Keep a record in the reading log.

2:      Complete Maths activities (usually online.) Show parents what you are doing. Comment on the class blog saying something about the activity

3:      Get parents to sign diary. This indicates that parents have seen that Reading, Maths activities and Blog comment have been done.

4:      Bring diary to school everyday for monitoring.


ALSO: Personalise your Blog over the weekend and have it ready to go for Monday.

  • Blog Post- Write about your favourite superhero. Why do you think this character is the best superhero? Give an example of how they are unique to other superheroes.

  • Reading Log
  • Comment on the blog when these are completed.

We are focusing on Angles, Multiples and Factors and

    I couldn't do my mathletics because the computer was really slow and it didn't work and I was getting frustrated. I tried and tried again but it didn't work.     I did my homework, I did some mathletics and some study ladder. I was so frustrated because on study ladder I accidentally kept pressing the enter button and I couldn't go back to change it. Also in study ladder on the Mona Lisa task I didn't like how you couldn't go back to the passage to read over it. Over all I found the homework kind of difficult.

    Me and Teagan had the same problem. Stupid computers. . . . .
    homework was 'ok' but my computer was being dumb because I had to do one task one million gazillion times, maybe there's something wrong with my computer . . . hope not.

    Dear Mrs Todd,
    I really liked this weeks homework because it was fun and I also forgot what a synonyms were but then I remember it was a word that's the same and I also forgot what antonym was but then I remembered once again what and antonym was and its like the opposite of a word.So I think this homework really matters and that you should do it otherwise you might not remember what you have learnt at school and also I think that homework helps you revise things you might've forgot.
