What a Way to end the Term!

There is always a lot of excitement when a term ends, but none more so than today when we ended Term 1 with both Easter Hat Parade and Missions Day.

Stage 3 helped the younger students in preparing and participating in the Easter Hat Parade. Jack and Nikita, our prefects had prepared an fantastic message about Easter, highlighting the reason the reason that we celebrate Easter is that Jesus came to save us from our sin. 

Missions Day continues some of this theme because Jesus came to serve. He demonstrated to us that we need to lay down our lives for one another. This is an important aspect of Missions Day.

This is a day that we set aside school work to raise money for other students who live elsewhere, whose needs are greater than our own. There is always a great sense of community and school spirit, as we go about all the different activities.
